What is The Non-Linear Movement Method®?

The Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM) is a gentle somatic practice that helps you release tension, process emotions, and reconnect with yourself in as little as 5 minutes per day.

For moms specifically, NLMM® offers a unique way to:​

  • Release the physical tension that builds from holding, carrying, and constantly responding to little ones
  • Process the complex emotions and emotional stress of motherhood through movement rather than analysis
  • Tap into your intuition that often gets buried under to-do lists and others' needs
  • Reconnect with sensation and pleasure to improve intimacy with your partner and ease the transition from mom-mode to partner-mode
  • Create a boundary of sacred space for yourself that's just about you

What To Expect

NLMM® Is Practiced In the Privacy Of Your Home.

In a 60-minute session, you'll be guided through an intuitive, unstructured movement practice set to instrumental music.

  • ​Bring a mat or blanket, cameras may be off after the beginning instruction & demo.
  • ​Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, similar to a yoga class.
  • ​No fitness level required-  movements are self initiated by you through prompted instruction.
  • Pregnancy and postpartum-friendly, so long as you are cleared by your physician for movement.

During a session you might experience:

  • Coming "home" to your body

  • A sense of spaciousness and aliveness
  • Release of emotion held in the body

Hi, I’m Sidney Olivia Garcia, M.Sc. — a perinatal health coach and embodiment guide. My work blends science, somatic practice, and lived experience to help mothers restore energy, reclaim self-trust, and lead their families from a place of wholeness.
